Damon Davis has a new podcast, Discovery Diaries, and I was honored be among his first guests.
We got into a wide range of topics: the origins of my interest in patient-led innovation; artificial intelligence and how patients, survivors, and caregivers should be included in the design of AI tools; our time working together at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; the people we know who fit into the Seeker, Networker, Solver, Champion archetypes; why the Diabetes Online Community (DOC) is a renewable resource of insights; and how I personally used peer-to-peer health care to upgrade my skills as a caregiver.
Near the end of our conversation we talk about how peers can help you tap into power that you don’t feel you have. If this resonates, I’d love to hear from you in the comments below.
