“There are four kinds of people in this world…”

July 1, 2013 By Susannah Fox 2 Comments

“There are four kinds of people in this world…”

“…those who have been caregivers, those who currently are caregivers, those who will be caregivers, and those who will need caregivers.” – Rosalyn Carter, quoted in a lovely post by Kathleen Hoffman: “Be Kind Whenever Possible…”

Arrows connect Give and Take; a bracket shows that Care encompasses both.
By Jessica Hagy of thisisindexed.com

I’m continuing to hear from people about the new caregivers report, via tweets, blog comments, and email. Thank you for sharing observations and experiences. I will be guided in future research by every story, just as a sailor navigates by the stars.

Yes! That quote needs a Venn diagram.

Your comment inspired me to look back at a set of drawings that Jessica Hagy of thisisindexed.com created for Mayo Transform 2010. David Rosenman, the curator of that event, shared them with me and I’ve never done anything with them — until today when I snapped a picture and added one as an illustration (above). Thank you!
